Vaanam’s costly song

Simbu starrer Vaanam is making headlines on every alternative day for its latest happenings. Latest we hear is the whopping budget was spent for shooting the single track Evandi Unna Pethan. The song has already topped the charts and is still aired very frequently on all FM stations.
It’s really stunning that the producers of Vaanam spent nearly more than a crore for filming the song in Mumbai’s Film city by erecting a massive set. The unit also imported 30 dancers from London, UK. The song is very special as it is written and sung by Simbu. The audio of Vaanam will be out in stores on March 14th, 2011 and will be first-of-its-kind move in Kollywood.
Meanwhile the unit of Vaanam helped Child artiste, Rubina Ali who starred in Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire. She lost her home in the fire accident that occurred recently in Bandra slums. Producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri within no time has tracked her and brought her to the headquarters of Venus audio company. Silambarasan has presented a compensation amount of Rs. 50,000 and Venus director also donated an amount of Rs. 21,000 to the child. This is really an appreciable thought of producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri and his team.
